    Villa International High School

    Introduction

    Established in 2010, Villa International High School (VIHS) is the first international high school in the Maldives, offering world-class education in a nurturing and inclusive environment. The school was founded under the visionary leadership of Honorable Qasim Ibrahim, Chairman of Villa Group, and brought to life through the dedication of Dr. Ahmed Anwar and his committed team: Dr. Ali Najeeb, Mr. Abdul Munnim Mohd Manik, Dr. Mohamed Adil, and Dr. Abdulla Sadig.

    VIHS was created to open new opportunities for Maldivian students by providing a strong academic foundation that prepares them for higher education and success in a fast-changing world. Located on the prestigious Qasim Ibrahim Campus, the school continues to set new standards for educational excellence in the country.

    Over the years, more than 5,000 students have completed their high school education at VIHS. Many have gone on to study at top universities around the world and are now making meaningful contributions across various fields in Maldivian society.





     

    Founder of Villa International High School Hon. Qasim Ibrahim is a philanthropist who has funded numerous students to study abroad through Villa Foundation. He is very keen to do everything possible to facilitate the provision of good quality education to the nation's youth.




    Dr. Anwar has served in the education sector for over 50 years. He served in the Ministry of Education before moving to the private sector and established Villa College and VIHS. It was Dr. Ahmed Anwar who made VIHS possible with the support of Hon. Qasim Ibrahim.
